Why do holsters have a cant?
It is common for most people in the concealed carry community to generally carry their firearm on their hip. The angle of the cant allows for easy concealment. Its positioning angle, either neutral or positive, will allow for concealment without impeding the draw when a holster is worn on the hip. To prevent your handgun from snagging on clothing when being drawn from a light bearing holster you should avoid a negative cant angle.
